Missouri received two BPAO grants to provide Statewide Coverage.  These Specialists are trained by the Social
Security Administration in Benefits Planning. 

Who is eligible for this assistance?

• A recipient of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or a beneficiary of Social Security Disability (SSDI); or an
  agency that provides services to them.

What can the Specialist do?

• Explain the effect of a beneficiary's earnings/wages on monthly SSI/SSDI payments.

• Explain Social Security's work incentives.

• Answer questions from both the general public and outside agencies about Social Security programs that
  support work.
